The Wet Desert

Dartmoor isn't all it seems...

A few friends and I are heading out onto Dartmoor for an overnighter this weekend. In the main to justify all the new wild camping kit I’ve bought (partly planned, partly to satiate some form of mid-life crisis). I shan’t lie, I’m pretty damn excited about it, since the last moorland sleepover right at the tippity top of Roughtor, on Bodmin Moor, was a definite life highlight.

This new film, The Wet Desert, appeals to my love of panoramic solitude, be it sand, water, or misty moorland. Even if that’s not what was always there…

Thanks for the tip, BH.
